About us

The Violin Shop of Santa Fe was established in 1997 by owners Kevin Miller and Julia Meeks. Our intent is to offer excellence, expertise, knowledge, fine service,  fairness, honesty and integrity in all of our business practices.

Kevin Miller has extensive training and more than 30 years of experience in the restoration and repair of violin family instruments and bows.

Julia Meeks has been managing sales, rentals and administrative duties for the Violin Shop since it’s inception.

Both Miller and Meeks are musicians. Miller is an award winning songwriter and composer. Meeks is sought after and well loved musical talent with a beautiful voice and a unique repetoire of  South American folk music. Either of them can be found performing locally and regionally in their respective musical projects.
